When confidentiality is critical.

Background

A consumer products organization with a track record of investing in innovation and technology companies engaged Transition Staffing Group to raise the level of talent in their accounting team. The current Controller was a long-term employee that grew up in the organization over a number of years. The skill set required to grow with the organization was simply not present, and a search for a confidential replacement was started. The President and CEO were very fond of the individual being replaced and contemplated halting the search. But another key acquisition prompted an immediate decision to move forward with the search.

Solution

TSG was able go into our network and into our internal database to identify candidates without posting this position publicly and jeopardizing confidentiality. The TSG team was able to be discrete throughout the entire process by not disclosing the company name until the appropriate time. Our team was also able to keep quality candidate engaged during the recruiting process, despite this unique situation. We presented viable candidates in an appropriate timeline that met all of the client’s required needs to support their growth and culture criteria.

Outcome

Confidentiality was never breached and the client was extremely satisfied with TSG’s ability to operate within these restrictions. The client was able to hire the ideal candidate for the long term. The candidate TSG placed is thriving in the new position.
