The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves:

• Maintaining and updating payroll records
• Verifying timekeeping data and resolving discrepancies
• Processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll runs
• Ensuring correct taxation and benefits deductions
• Preparing and distributing payroll reports

The Payroll Specialist collaborates with HR, Finance, and department managers to ensure all payroll-related procedures are efficient, accurate, and confidential. A strong attention to detail and a working knowledge of payroll systems and labor laws are essential in this role.
